William Joseph Rearick Sr.'s Obituary
William J. Rearick. Age 83 of Madison Heights, passed away March 22nd, 2017.
Loving husband to JoAnn for the past 60 years. Beloved father to his children William Jr (Lisa), Cheryl (Michael), Michael (Patricia), and Daniel. Proud Grandfather to Amanda (Paul), Krystle, Ashley (Jeff), Amber, Monica (Chris), Aaron, Kaitlyn (Kyle), Brandon, Beth and a Great-Grandfather to eight.
Pre-deceased by brother David (surviving wife, Kay). Survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
William was a Retired Army Veteran and Retired from U.S. Customs after 36 Years of Service. He was a Lifetime Member of the Elks and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed attending church every Sunday with his wife and was an Usher at St. Vincent Ferrer. He enjoyed spending his time with family and friends – the jokester of the family. He enjoyed traveling, reading, Sudoku puzzles, and playing bingo. He loved to play cards, but hated to lose. He was meticulously organized and had a sharp mind.
William Rearick will be loved and missed by all. We love you Always and Forever.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Lodge of Sorrow service at 6:30 pm and a Scripture Service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights (one block north of 13 Mile Road on the west side of John R). The Funeral will be held on Monday, March 27th beginning with Instate at 9:30 am followed by the 10:00 am Mass at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Madison Heights.
