My grandpa William was a true one of a kind. One of the sweetest, nicest, funniest, smartest man I have ever known. My grandpa has encouraged me to always go for anything I wanted in life. He was there for me during many significant life events from high school graduation to college graduation (bachelors and masters), my wedding, my first career, my daughter being born, and to most recently passing the CPA exam. I would like to think I learned much of my financial wisdom from him. My grandpa always loved to hear how my work was going and followed me every step of the way to make sure I finished that CPA exam. I am so thankful for all of the memories i have with him and for all of the pictures we have together over the years. My grandfather was a very proud man of all of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The first photo I am sharing is a photo that I took last year when we did a facetime date between my daughter and him. It shows his wonderful smile and how he loved to keep in touch with family. At the age of 83 my grandpa was very smart and pretty in tune with technology. I enjoyed helping get him set up with an ipad to play his games and to use facetime for him to enjoy in some of our world travels as he has traveled much of the world during his life. A few other pictures I am sharing include a picture from his 80th birthday including many of his children grandchildren and friends, a picture from my grandmother's 80th birthday last May which includes all of his great grandchildren that he cherished so dearly, and the last picture is from this past Christmas with all of his children. My grandpa was a true family man who was looked up to by all of us. He will forever remain in our hearts. I love you always!
Dan & Family,
I am sorry to learn about the recent death of Chief Rearick. I have lost both of my parents over the past few years, so I know the heartache you are experiencing right now.
My thoughts are with all of you, and I will remember William in my daily prayers.
With all good wishes I am,

Bill, I know you will be missed terribly by your family, friends and former co-workers. Though I was only in Detroit from 1983 - 1986, I have fond memories of working with you and your great sense of humor. Rest in Peace.

God's speed, Mr. R! You can now "hang out" or play cards with Jim and Marie! Will always remember, fondly, your humor and funny stories shared with our neighborhood. Rest in peace. Wishing loving comfort to your lovely wife JoAnn and the rest of your family and friends. We are in Florida until April, but will be at your celebration in heart and spirit! Much love....Buzzy (Kelly)
