Sandra David- What a beautiful lady! Inside and out she brought joy and light into a room!
Between the southern charm and her spitfire spirit, she could comfort and give sound advice to anyone.
I feel so blessed to have had her in my life.
I have a book full of her recipes! And she always brought me a little something that she worked so hard on to taste! What a lady. They just don’t make them like that anymore.
When her arm was healing from the previous chemo, she let me put her IVs in her feet- and she had tiny feet! She would always wear cute festive socks and pretty shoes when I worked on her. It always made me smile!
I think she enjoyed making people smile.
She saw someone in need and knew just how to make a difference. Whether it was prayer, a good lighthearted joke, or a car, she (and Barry too) always seemed to go out of their way to help others. She oozed love! The world misses her, I miss her, and I know the family misses her so dearly.
I think about her so often, and sometimes I smile, or cry, or think of something she said and I just laugh out loud! I hope someday I can hug her and tell her everything about my day again & hear her laugh.
I am currently on bedrest because I’ve seemed to have gone into labor too early….just a side note this baby girl is due on Sandra’s birthday….and well, it doesn’t surprise me that she wants to rush in and be a light in the world; just like Sandra was. I sure do wish she could have known Sandra and what a beautiful lady she was.
We will just have to tell baby Georgia about how lovely she was!
She is so very loved, and admired for the wonderful strong woman she was. Tough as an old boot, and gentle as the warm sunshine on your face.
All my love to the family,
