My sympathy to the family. May you find comfort in Jesus words, "I am the resurrection and the life."-John 11:25
I could spend days recalling precious memories of the finest church secretary I ever had the privilege of working with. Sally was also a personal friend, confidant, shoulder to lean on, advisor and spell corrector. Working in an office only a few feet from hers for 12 years is something for which I will always be thankful. I will miss her smile, laughter, advice, listening ear and much more, including watching & discussing the highlights of the OJ Simpson trial many years ago. She was fiercely loyal to her family, friends and brethren. She was a great blessing to the church of Christ in Hazel Park for MANY years. And she was blessed with an amazing husband and devoted children.
Sally, I will see you again face-to-face by the grace of God and Christ.
I have known Randy and the Cleghorn Family for as long as anyone else in the State of MI. In the past, times were good...many fun times & shared memories. Yet, time has dealt one of the cruelest blows almost everybody inevitably experiences, the loss of a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Neighbor, Friend. It is a very sad time indeed. I will not be able to personally attend Memorial Services, so I can only offer my heartfelt condolences via this avenue. My hope is that the salve of love will help to soothe the sorrow you all presently feel and maybe in a future time you will simply smile when you remember Sally.
