I will never forget both Mr & Mrs Ralph Merkel. They were the sweetest people I've ever known so far. Mrs. Merkel & my parents took turns driving my friend Cindy Merkel, 2 of my brothers, 1 of my sisters & me all to St Vincent Ferrer grade school & back each day throughout the school years. Also, she would would actually talk to her car, "Luigi," on the few days she had trouble starting it & was always successful in the coaxing, which would make us all laugh! Mrs Merkel would also dress up like a witch on Halloween & pass out candy to each & every classroom! Cindy & I are still good friends. I will certainly miss Mrs M! We all know that you're already in Heaven with your loving husband! 🙏 ❤️ 🌠
