I was a scared bright eyed 17 year old from California. I first met her at Cameron messer's christening and she gave me her double breaded pork chop recipe. She always treated me as one of her own, like family. Rest in peace Nonna. I'll never forget you. 💔 One Thanksgiving you and Poppa Regis were amazed that I've never watched The Birdcage and you both sat me down and incredulously asked me 'what kind of gay are you?? There are so many memories! My favorite ones are of all of us sitting around the table eating her wonderful spaghetti, lasagna and pizzelle’. The joy, laughter and memories that were made around her table...priceless! I learned from Marion and my mom’s friendship the truth behind the saying “friends are family you chose!
