Aunt Leona gave me this soap holder she made in 1976. I've always used it in the kitchen for the sponge. I've always treasured that gift. I'm sure you and Dad are playing your accordions.

My fondest memory of Aunt Leona was on my 9th birthday, my father was ill her and Uncle Joe made sure I had a birthday present, I found an umbrella hanging on our door, I felt like Mary poppins, and who could ever forget her famous sugar cookies.
Remembering sweet summer days around the picnic tables on their plot on Buss Drive... all us kids... Aunt Leona, Uncle Joe, Aunt Billie, Uncle Siemo, Gramma and Grampa, and the list goes on...
When I broke my wrist in a motorcycle accident she made me a ceramic Precious Moments guy on a motorcycle statue that was supposed to be me. Such a kind woman... truly made in God's image... I know she loved Jesus and has gone to be home in His Kingdom with those of our loved ones who have gone before her!!!!
