Kenneth Dorie's Obituary
KENNETH J. DORIE, age 65 of Florida and originally of Madison Heights, passed away on March 14, 2010. He was born July 4, 1944. He retired from the Madison Heights Police Department in 1992. Husband of Diane "DuBois” Dorie for 26 years. Dear father of Bryan (Denise) Dorie, Sharon (Sean) Magee, Brianna Dorie, and Kendall Dorie. Proud grandfather of Jessica, Nicole, Kahla, and Micaelan, and great grandchildren, Alyssa and Devon. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph (Betty) Dorie, sister, Susan (Pat) DuBeau, cousin, Wally (Bonnie) Bohacek, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation Monday from 6 – 9 pm at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. A memorial mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am, at the Shrine of the Little Flower Church, 12 Mile Road and Woodward, Royal Oak, with visitation at the church starting at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family will be used for his childrens education.
