Isla Denise Jones, or “Woodchip” as she renamed herself, came to know complete peace on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 6:30 am, after a long battle with a rare kidney cancer. She went peacefully, cuddled by her mother and father. Read Obituary

My greatest accomplishment so far in my life has been to be married to Isla's Grandmother, to be the father of Isla's Mom and to be Isla's grandfather. Thank you so much for having me as your grandpa. I spoke with you last night and can't wait to see you again!

What a gorgeous, funny, playful, wise, kind, gregarious, insightful, happy, family. Isla was so clearly the sum of her parts and so much more .
