He was a wonderfully warm and kind man. I only knew him from his work at the theatre, but I'm all the better for having known him. He will be greatly missed.

Jerry was an amazing individual, a bear with heart of a saint. We always felt warmth near him who always had a smile for us and the Vietnamese community. We especially loved watching him mingling with homeless people. He put on a hardened and tough face, but these guys loved talking to him. He’ll be missed. We believe that Jerry is already in a better place and watching over us.
We pray that out loving God pour his love on your family during these days of sorrow.

Gerry, I miss you every day! You were my kind of patient….feisty, kind, caring, loving, funny and full of love for your family and friends. We had some interesting times together, good and bad, but in the end I know you cared about me and loved me with all of your heart, I could always guarantee you would be concerned for my safety, how hard I work, and what I was going through on a daily basis, even though I hurt you, and maybe I wasn’t your favorite appointment. You made me laugh, challenged me, and reminded me why I became a nurse. You will truly be missed! I’m sure my family of patients welcomed you to heaven with open arms! I hope you are at the casino! Many prayers to everyone who loves you, praying their hearts will heal quickly! Love you! Xoxox

I knew whenever we had a home soccer game, he would be chilling in the car right behind the net in the middle school parking lot. I had my own cheerleader yelling and honking his horn. If I ever screwed up or wasn’t feeling like I did the best, I would just turn around to look to him so he could give the sign that I was doing good.
The confusion when some random guy was screaming for “Billy” was a nice touch XD.
He was really a nice guy a Gentle Giant in school. Loved the sports. God Bless him and his family
