I have lived in Madison Heights for 50 years and I remember what a great Mayor George was. In recent years I had the pleasure to sit at the same table at The Senior Center with George and got to know him much better, We all had a great time with him, he was always so kindand just a joy to be with. We will all miss him terribly and are very sad at his passing.

I was so sad to hear of George's passing. We lived across the street on Moulin from George for many years. He was a great neighbor - we chatted every day and my kids loved the fact that they knew George would always have suckers for them.
George is in a place now where there is no more pain and suffering, just freedom in heaven!! We'll never forget him.
