Zona June Roth's Obituary
Our beloved Zona June Roth peacefully passed away at home on June 19th, 2024. Born on March 15th, 1950 in LaFollette, Tennessee to parents George and Martha Riggs.
Zona lived a passionate life, taking pride in her faith as a Jehovah’s Witness and attending the Kingdom Hall in Madison Heights.
A creative and artistic soul, Zona found joy in being a seamstress, baking and tending to her garden.
A central figure in her large family, Zona was a beloved sister to Barbara Riggs, Thomas Riggs and Gary Riggs (Lori); nurturing mother to Theresa Roberts (George), Thomas Giera (Jamie) and Michael Roth (Meghan); loving grandmother to John Taylor (Kristina), Ashley Roberts, Tamara Taylor (James), Nicholas Roberts, Amber Roberts, Shawn Martin, Daniel Roberts (Mataya), Nicholas Martin-Giera, Annalee Roth and Ivy Roth. Zona also had the pleasure of embracing extended generations as a treasured "GG" to her great-grandchildren Alyssa Taylor, Nathaniel Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Christopher Rush, Dylan Rush, Grayson Roberts, Aubrey Rush and Morgan Rush.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, June 29th from 12:00 noon to the time of the Funeral Service at 3:30 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
