Willie Bert Combs, age 87, passed away August 15, 2017. He was born July 25, 1930 in Crawfordville, Georgia.
Beloved husband of the late Joan for 65 years. Dear father of Colin (Laura), Bret (Erin) and Cory (Lisa). Predeceased by his son, Mark. Grandfather of 5 grandchildren and great grandfather of 7. Survived by his siblings Loretta Hayden, Marty Combs and Dian Spencer. Predeceased by sister Sallie Baron and brothers William Combs and James Combs.
He was a World War II Veteran that served as a Paratrooper in the U.S. Army, 11th Airborne Division. He was a world-class billiard player, avid golfer and bowler.
Visitation Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 3-9 pm with funeral service at 7 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights (one block north of 13 Mile Road on the west side of John R Road).
