William Roy Underwood, age 77 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on Wednesday, March 6, 1940 in Beardsfork, West Virginia.
Beloved Husband of Linda (maiden Smith) Underwood of Hazel Park, Michigan. Dear Father of Roy Underwood of Hazel Park, Michigan; Loujeana (Kenneth) Maynus of Charleston, West Virginia and Suzanne Reichard of Oak Hill, West Virginia. Son of Estel and Irene (maiden Williams) Underwood of Oak Hill, West Virginia. Cherished Grandfather of Lauren Williams, TJ Williams, Amanda Maynus, Jill Maynus, Luke Maynus and Danny Reichard.
William loved fishing, hunting and celebrating good times with close friends. He was not religious at all. He would have done anything for anyone even if they didn't ask. He worked for Chrysler as a truck driver until he retired.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, (the south west corner on John R. Road at 9 1/2 Mile / Woodward Heights), Hazel Park, Michigan. Burial at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills, Michigan.
