William “Joe” Ward Nelson, age 65 of Warren, Michigan passed away on September 6, 2019 at Ascension Macomb Hospital, Warren, Michigan. He was born on January 26, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Otha and Joan Nelson.
Husband of Sandra Nelson. Father of Spencer. Brother of Caroline Kessler, Diane (Brad) Heath, Paul (Debra) Nelson and Joanne (Peter) Fisher. Uncle of many loved nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Monday, September 9th beginning with Instate (visitation) at 10:00 am followed by the 11:00 am Funeral Service at Christ Community Church, 8292 E. 14 Mile Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan. Burial will be at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Michigan.
