William Dale Gracey, II, age 36 of Hazel Park, Michigan and formerly of Avoca, Michigan passed away on January 23, 2022 in Hazel Park, Michigan. He was born on April 10, 1985 in Warren, Michigan.
Beloved Husband of Mary J. Gracey. They were married on October 18, 2019 in Pinckey, Michigan. Son of William D. Gracey and Barbara Gracey (Wiles). Brother of Corey (Fiancée Ashley Lapere) Gracey, sister Melissa Gracey and lifelong friend Dave Posner, Jr. Grandson of Shirley Wiles. Uncle of Zachary P. Posner, Wyatt T. Gracey, Joshua M. Posner, Bentley D. Posner and Atreyu D. Gracey.
Anyone who knew Bill, Billy or Ratchet knew he was a loyal man. Bill was a loyal husband, grandson, son, brother, uncle nephew, cousin and friend.
Bill loved getting in some wind therapy on his motorcycle anytime he could rain, snow or shine. He enjoyed wrenching on motorcycles but did not like working on cars even though he could and would to help a friend in need.
Bill had a love for sweets, especially candy. He would Uncle Billy/Ratchet candy tax his nephews every chance he had.
If Bill, Billy or Ratchet called you friend, you were family.
Bill will be missed dearly by anyone who had the honor and privilege to know and love him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 4th from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place on Saturday, February 5th at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Michigan. Procession will be leaving the funeral home at 11:45 am.
