William G. Bette's Obituary
William G. Bette, age 86 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on February 12, 2017 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on May 3, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Gabriel and Mary Bette.
Beloved Husband of Colleen Bette. Dear Father of Dale (Dianne) Bette and Michael Bette. William was pre-deceased by his daughter, Jennifer Bette. Grandfather of Brendon and Kristina. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He retired from Ford Motor Company. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Columbus in the Helicopter Squadron, Air Sea Rescue Unit.
The family gratefully thanks the doctors, nurses and staff at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak as well as Beaumont Hospice.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17th from 3:00 pm until time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.
