Walter Lloyd Wright's Obituary
Walter Lloyd Wright, age 89 of Hazel Park, Michigan and formerly of Ferndale, Michigan passed away on March 13, 2024 at Genesis Adult Foster Care Home, Madison Heights, Michigan. He was born on January 3, 1935.
Walter is predeceased by his parents Freeman and Hazel (maiden Smith) Wright, his siblings Beatrice Spatt, Patricia Evely, Ila P. Green and a niece Susan Evely-Merriman.
Dear Uncle to nieces: Karen Green-Wallace, Patricia (Les) Evely-O’Neil and Nancy Green-Wade; nephews: Michael (JulieAnn) Green and Brian (Juliann) Evely. Many great nieces and great nephews.
Walter was born in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, lived in Detroit, Ferndale and Hazel Park. He worked at Hudson’s Department Store for 30 – 40 years. He loved working with flowers and gardening. He Loved his dogs.
Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan on Wednesday, March 20th at 10:00 am. A Memorial Service will be planned for a later date.
