Walter C. Kaczynski, age 101 OF Royal Oak, Michigan passed away on February 26, 2024 at his home. He was born on October 10, 1922 in Detroit, Michigan to Michael and Helen Kaczynski.
Loving Husband of Helen (maiden Brashaw) Kaczynski. Father of Robert Kaczynski, Dennis (Patricia) Kaczynski and Donna (the late Mark) Brunetti. Grandfather of Ross (Dana) Brunetti and Lisa (Jeffrey) Martell. Great-Grandfather of Theo, Allison, Senna and Decker. Also survived by 2 nieces.
Walter served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He retired from the U. S. Post Office after 38 years of service.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1st from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 2nd beginning at 9:30 am – Instate followed by the 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Mary of Royal Oak Catholic Church, 730 South Lafayette Avenue, Royal Oak, Michigan. Burial at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Michigan.
