Walter Herbert Boyd's Obituary
Walter “Red” Herbert Boyd Jr. age 79, of Croswell passed away October 19, 2011. Beloved husband of Marie Boyd. Predeceased by his parents Marie and Walter Sr, brothers Gerald and Ronald and sons Raymond and David. Loving father of Michael, Joel (Diann), Robert Sr Thomas (Mary) and Dianne (Michael) Hall. He was also survived by his daughter in law Jody. Loving brother to Jeanette Allison, Alice D’Angelo, George, James, Daniel and Denise Harper. Walter was an honest, loving, trustworthy and hardworking individual who retired from GM after 34 years. Walter, Wally, or Red is what he was known by. He enjoyed retired life on his farm. He took pleasure in gardening, cutting the grass, and spending time in the "White House" with family, friends and a nice cold Natural Light. Visitation will be held Sunday October 23 from 3-9pm; services will be Monday at 11am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery.
