W. B. Tilley, age 90 of Troy, Michigan passed away on August 8, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center, Troy, Michigan. He was born on September 17, 1925 in Paducah, Kentucky.
Beloved Husband of Sophie Tilley. Dear Father of Diana (David) Phillips, Sandy Roberti and Crystal (Michael, Jr.) DeMattei. Grandfather of David, Jerry, Kimberly, Jason, Kelly, Angela, Michael III, Mark, Christina, Jennifer and Ryan. Great-Grandfather of Trisha, Dean, Marie, Timmy, Sophia, Caden, Grace and S.J. He is the last of 21 siblings and he was the youngest of them.
As a WWII veteran, he serve in Germany for 4 years in the Army.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Friday, August 12th from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Funeral Service on Saturday, August 13th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
