Vickie & I were friends. We both lived at Oakland Park Towers in Troy. As fate would have it I moved across the hall from her & Art. She recognized me one day as the person who had leased them their apartment more than 25 years before .They were among the first residents to move into this brand new building that I was working to occupy with Seniors Citizens. Although 30 years my senior, Vickie and I became fast friends as she and Art welcomed me with their warm and friendly manner. Vickie was sweet and caring, and a lot of fun. We laughed a lot when we were together and always had a good time. She loved to shop at the Mall, knowing all the clerks in her usual stops, and for "a little old lady" she tired me out! She re-introduced me to baking even sharing her "secret" cheesecake recipe that we made together many times. We shared so many conversations over the years about both our lives, and I cherish those memories. I will miss her and will never forget her genuine friendship. I wish you peace and love Vicki as you rest in Gods hands. Your Friend, Vancy
