Vera Lucille Shepard May 5, 1928 - June 29, 2012
Vera Lucille Shepard, age 84, of Center Line, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on June 29, 2012.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Ira Alvin Shepard. Precious mother of Danny (Peggy) Shepard, Karen (Dan) Cardinell, Kenneth (Debra) Shepard, Kevin (Beth) Shepard and Kristie Shepard. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brother Elmer (Grace) Talley, Jr. and her sister-in-law Scherry Talley, as well as dear family friend Karen Mainero. Vera was a member of the Hazel Park Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 3pm to 9pm. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R, Madison Heights, MI 48071. Burial will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township, MI.
And she will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
