Vera Morrison's Obituary
MORRISON, VERA MAE, Age 69, a Madison Heights resident for over 50 years, died February 2, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert (1985). Loving mother of Gilbert (Jaye), Robert (Christine), Albert (Karen), Donald (Paula), Lawrence (Stephanie), Renee (Fiancee Dan Juhasz), and the late Teresa (Gordon) Stevens. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brothers Ross (Joanne) Jones, Bill (Judy) Jones, Ken (Sue) Jones, Everett (Mary) Jones, Charles (Brenda) Jones , and the late Mary Lou Gustafson. She worked for the Madison Schools for over 30 years and was a lifetime PTA member. She was also a victim’s advocate, served on the Madison Heights Board of Canvassers, owned the Clawson Travel Agency, and treated all she knew as if they were her own family. Visitation Thursday, 5-9 pm, Friday 2-9 pm with the funeral Saturday at 11 am at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, MI. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
