Thomas M. Platt's Obituary
Thomas M. Platt, age 69 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on February 20, 2025 at Corewell Health Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on May 4, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan.
Beloved Husband of Nancy Lynn Platt. Thomas and Nancy were wed in 2018. He is pre-deceased by his first wife, Sherry Lynn Platt. Dear Father of Christohper (Darcy) Platt and stepfather of Edward Yoder. Cherished Grandfather of Andrew Platt, Jared Platt, and Breanna Yoder. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters.
Thomas was a longtime member of St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Parish and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Fr. Kramer council.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, February 27th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Knights of Columbus Service at 6:30 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The Funeral Mass take place on Friday, February 28th at 10:00 am at St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Parish, located at 2500 East 12 Mile Road, Warren, Michigan, 48092. The Burial will be held at Acacia Park Cemetery in Beverly Hills, Michigan.
