Thomas J. Heun, age 76 of Hazel Park, Michigan and formerly of Mesa, Arizona passed away on January 17, 2023 in Hazel Park, Michigan. He was born on February 8, 1946 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to John and Arlene Heun.
Husband of Barbara Heun. They were married on August 8, 1988 in Buckeye, Arizona. Father of Matthew D. Heun. Grandfather of Cam’Rynn. Brother of Mike (Jolene), Kathy, Karen (Mike Kelly), Nancy (Jerry Rennert), Steve (Debbie), Tim (Wendy), Dan (Veronica), Paul (Abby) and Keith (Cindy). Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Thomas is a former Police Officer, an Air Force Veteran and was very active in his church.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Hazel Park, 23321 S. Chrysler Drive, Hazel Park, Michigan at 11:00 am followed by the Committal Service with Military Honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan at 2:30 pm.
