Theresa Rose Ladd, age 91 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on January 3, 2025 at St. Joseph Trinity Hospital, Pontiac, Michigan. She was born on August 19, 1933 in Romeo, Michigan to John and Rose Schwartz.
Beloved Wife of the late Gerald Laymon Ladd. Loving Mother of Randall (Joy) Ladd, Pamela (the late Norman) Trask, Dale (Kathy) Ladd and the late Ronald (surviving Michelle) Ladd. Cherished Grandmother of Gregory Ladd, Rachel Ladd, Joshua Ladd, Tabitha Trask, Robert Trask, Jonathan Ladd and Sheila Ladd. Great-Grandmother of Moriah, Gabriel, Zachariah, Blaise and Marley. Theresa is predeceased by her brother, Frank Schwartz and her sister, Elizabeth Myer.
Even at the age of 91, Theresa had minimal health issues. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother of 4. She was truly the family matriarch. Theresa enjoyed spending time in the summer at her cottage on the Tittabawasee River. She liked playing bingo and had numerous casino adventures. She loved the television show “The Price is Right” and Bob Barker.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 12th from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary service at 6:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at Garrish Township Cemetery, Roscommon, Michigan.
