Theresa Cremen-Polonis' Obituary
Theresa Cremen Polonis, age 59 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away suddenly on December 5, 2023 in her home. She was born on April 29, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan.
Theresa is survived by her mother Roberta Cremen, brothers David (Shellay) Cremen, Michael (Tami) Cremen, Kenny (Scott) Cremen, sons Nicholas Polonis and Noah Polonis and ex-husband Scott Polonis. She was also blessed with and grateful for her many friends.
Theresa was super proud to be an aunt to Amy, Brent (Naomi), Joshua, Hunter, Zachary and Micaela. She also adored her great-nieces and great-nephews Beckham, Cole, Laina, Mia and Ava. She also loved her extended family of loving aunts and uncles as well as many cousins who were often more like siblings.
Theresa, known for her bubbly and outgoing personality as well as her fierce independent streak, loved to laugh with friends and family around her, they couldn't help but catch the laughing bug from her. Even through her trying times, Theresa always found a way back to her giggles and silliness. After graduating Lamphere High School in 1982, she spent 16 years in California, a place she loved and was always eager to share her memories of with anyone willing to listen. Theresa moved home in 2001, just in time to be able to spend a couple years with her beloved dad, David, before his passing in 2003. She was always grateful for that time with him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8th from 10:30 am - 2:00 pm, with the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place in Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley, Michigan.
