Terri Ellen Stinson's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend Terri Ellen Stinson. Terri was 62 years young. She was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on July 15, 1959, resided in Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed in Troy, Michigan on December 24, 2021.
Survived by devoted husband Mark Stinson. Treasured Mother of Jamie Jones & Jordin Stinson (Chip). Loving g'mamma to her angel Jacob Jones. Dear Daughter of the late Pauline Porter and Don Porter. Loving Sister of Paula Ureel, Joe Porter, Bud Porter, and Brinda Riddle (Don Sr.). As well as the infinite amount of people she loved and cared for.
Terri resigned from the traditional workforce to focus on what mattered most to her, being a mom to her children, wife to her husband, grandma to her grandchild, and making her house a home that would welcome all near and far to be cared for by her.
Terri’s love was full force and not to be reckoned with. Terri was a hunter who enjoyed spending time up north. Terri loved the Detroit Red Wings, animals of all sizes but most importantly the spiders, relaxing with her crime drama shows, and sharing her life stories both new and old.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 3rd from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home in Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place on January 4th at 11:00am at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, Michigan.
