Sylvester Rodgers, age 52, a life long resident of Ferndale, passed away on December 5, 2011 at home. He was born December 28, 1958 in Tuskegee, Alabama. Sylvester is the son of Leon and Girtha Rodgars. Brother of Leola Rodgers, Lyle (Lowrine) Rodgers, Kenneth E. Rodgers and Maurice (Candy) Rodgers. Beloved Uncle of many Nieces and Nephews. He enjoyed the outdoors, playing basketball and had a great sense of humor. Visitation Friday, 10 am until time of service at 12:00 Noon at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 2319 John R Road, Hazel Park
