It saddens me to know that he's gone. He was the sweetest uncle to me.Always treated me with respect. Even when I didn't deserve it. I was so proud of him taking care of his family,the way he did, he was a wonderful father, and grandfather. I hope you find peace in the knowledge that he is in heaven. And you will see him again. Steve was more than a neighbor--he was a friend, a protector, and a joyful presence in our lives. Always watchful and kind, he kept an eye on my home and heart with quiet generosity.
When he had to fulfill a community service requirement, Steve chose to give his time to something that mattered: helping at the elementary school where I worked. The kids adored him. His warmth and humor made him an instant favorite-and not just with the students. Steve didn't just lend a hand--he gave a piece of his heart in everything he did.
I will always remember the sound of his voice singing from his garage, his karaoke machine echoing the music he so deeply loved. Though he hadn't sung in recent years due to breathing issues, those who knew him can still hear the memory of his voice and the joy it brought. David and I will miss him dearly.
