Steven Scott Seizert's Obituary
Steven Scott Seizert, age 52 of Warren, Michigan passed away on January 12, 2020. He was born on September 24, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan.
Beloved Son of Gerald and Barbara Seizert. Loving Father of Kelsey Seizert. Also survived by Kelsey’s mother, Kelly Seizert. Dear Brother of Garry Seizert, Patricia (Vince) Mande, Christine (Richard) Krstich and Mark (Jacinda) Seizert. Uncle of Nicholas, Martino and Koltin. Steve was the second born of five children.
At an early age, he quickly grew to love fishing at his grandparent’s vacation home in Harpers Ferry, IA. He also enjoyed water sports like kayaking, canoeing and water skiing. He spent many years enjoying Boy Scouts with his brothers & Dad. First United Methodist Church is where he was baptized, confirmed, sang in the choir, attended Holy COW, church camp life guard and much more. As a young teen, he also enjoyed working on cars in the garage with his Dad which then started his love for muscle cars. He worked hard to save for his first car, a 1978 Plymouth Volare Richard Petty Kit racer. Steve was a graduate from Warren Mott High School where he was on the wrestling team & played the alto saxophone in the marching band. After high school, Steve worked at Jerome Duncan Ford & Royal Oak Ford where he held many positions including service manager.
Steve’s shining light and greatest love was found in his beautiful daughter, Kelsey. She brought immeasurable joy to him. They loved to ride bikes, explore city parks together, play board games and roller skate too. They made a lifetime of fun memories although his life was cut short.
Steve had a big heart & was always first to offer his help. He loved to work hard especially for those who couldn’t help themselves. He was well liked by many friends and had fun expressing his humor. He will be missed beyond words but we will forever enjoy the precious memories he built with each of us.
