Sophie Ann Baker, age 93 of Madison Heights passed away October 6, 2011. She was born August 23, 1918 in Detroit to Valentine and Helen Myers, both deceased. Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Baker (1986). Loving mother to Nancy (Michael) Katynski and the late Edward H. Baker. She is also survived by 6 grand-children, 10 great-grand-children, and 1 great-great- grandchild. Visitation Monday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, scripture service time to be determined, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. The funeral will be held Tuesday at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Madison Heights, with visitation from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 10:00 am. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
