Shirley Stokes, age 65 of Sterling Heights, Michigan and formerly of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on September 4, 2024 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township, Michigan. She was born on January 30, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan to John Paul and Mescal Main.
Beloved Wife of the late Charles Craig Stokes who passed away on September 13, 2006. They were married on April 9, 1988 in Ferndale, Michigan. Dear Mother of Richard (Jessica) Danforth and Rose (Justin) Foye. Grandmother of Raegan Danforth, Ruby Danforth and Theodore Foye. Sister of John Main and predeceased by her sisters Cathy Miller and Lois Weishuhn. Shirley is also survived by her previous husband, Richard Danforth. They were married on August 18, 1978.
She loved all her children, eating out at the Masters Restaurant and watching her favorite movies and TV shows.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 10th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with the Funeral Service at 11:00 am at White Chapel Cemetery (Chapel of Flowers), 621 W Long Lake Road, Troy, Michigan 48098. Burial will take place for the immediate family at the cemetery.
