Shirley Ann Robinson's Obituary
Shirley Ann (Lowe) Robinson, age 87, born to Ted and Freda Lowe on February 16, 1935, in Jefferson City, MO, passed away on January 4, 2023, at Pomeroy Skilled Rehab facility in Rochester Hills, MI.
Family of seven children moved to Detroit area in the late 1940’s, where Shirley met her husband Harry D. Robinson, both graduated from Hazel Park High School in 1953. Married on January 8, 1955, they resided in Madison Heights, Warren and most recently Shirley at American House in Troy.
Madison Heights is where her four children were born, she is survived by three, Cynthia (Garry) Harreld, David (Susan) Robinson and Barbara (Jerry) Todd. June of 2009, Shirley was preceded in death by her youngest child Rebecca Strobel, known to all as Becky. Shirley was blessed with six grandchildren, whom in-turn blessed us all with ten great grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral service will both be held Monday, January 9, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights, Michigan. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with a funeral service starting at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes can be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 22323 S Chrysler Dr., Hazel Park, MI, 48030.
