Shirley Ann Parsons' Obituary
Shirley Ann Parsons (Johnson), of Warren, Mi, passed away at home on September 12, 2022. She was born on July 8, 1952 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Mildred Johnson (Sparks).
Devoted mother to Bobby James, Duane Mellinger, Shirley Alfano (Mellinger), Jennifer Hill (Parsons) and Rebecca Parsons. Grandmother of 14 grandchildren and Great Grandmother of 3 great grandchildren. Survived by sisters, Linda "Sue" Saint and Pamela Bearss. Predeceased by sisters Deborah Parsons and Betty "Sis" Burge.
Shirley was known for her love of music, homemaking, green thumb, and her sense of humor. She will be remembered through laughter, love and memories.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 18th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 19th at 11:30 am at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights, Mi, 48071. Burial at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Mi. 48067.
