Sharon "Sherry" Marie Jones' Obituary
Sharon "Sherry" Marie Jones, age 71 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on November 29, 2025 in Madison heights. She was born on January 7, 1954 in Warren, Michigan.
She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Raymond and Nellie Jones, as well as her siblings, Joyce and James Kidwell and Toni (Max) Chavis.
She is survived by her sisters Janice (Leonard) Fleishans, Carolon (Thomas) Ring, and her brother Joseph (Carol) Jones. She was a dear aunt of Sandra Luster, Leonard Fleishans, Jr., Thomas Ring, Kimberly Urbanczyk, Jennifer Wright, Wayne Chavis, Brian Jones, Michelle Jones, and Rachael Jones. Dear great-aunt to many.
Sharon was a wonderful, loving sister and a friend to many. She was employed by Ajax Paving Company for many years and the Hazel Park District. She was a compassionate caregiver to her mother, always being loving and kind. She was an avid genealogy enthusiast, finding many relatives we would never have known. She was a wonderful cook. She enjoyed crafting and sold her many wreaths and decorations at craft shows and bazaars. Sharon loved Jesus. She knew where she was going when she left this Earth.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5th from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service at 12:00 noon at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
