GILL, SAM, AGE 91 of Hazel Park, died January 11, 2010. He was born May 10, 1918 in Hamtramck. An Army veteran of WWII, he is survived by his wife Betty, of 65 years; children Edward (Maggie) and Patricia (John) Belcher; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother John Gill; and sister Olga Allen. He is predeceased by his sister Ann. Memorial visitation Friday 5 pm to service time of 7:30 pm, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park. Inurnment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
