I just heard about Ruth's passing today, and wanted to say what good memories I have of her. You probably don't remember me, but I remember all of you, and the good times my mom (Harriet Mertens) had visiting with her. I haven't lived in Michigan for awhile, but still have very fond memories of Hazel Park and our neighborhood. Ruth is in our thoughts and will always be remembered as a great friend of my mom.

I miss you Grandma. Sending all my love to our family today, I'm sorry I can't be there with everyone. Grandma, thank you for helping to shape me into the person I am today. I'll hold you in my heart forever. I'm sure god has welcomed you with open arms.
Gerry & I are so glad we saw Ruth at Christmas time. Got a chance to talk with her and visit. She was such a nice lady and we will miss seeing her. Our deep condolences to the Stinson family on the losS of their mom. Prayers going out to the entire family that God helps get you through this tough time. Love & kisses, Duffy & Gerry Reese
