Ruth Marcella Maurice's Obituary
Ruth Marcella Maurice, age 82, a longtime Hazel Park resident died on Thursday, February 18, 2016 in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was born January 11, 1934 in Canton, Ohio. Mrs. Maurice was a 1952 graduate of St. Mary’s of Royal Oak.
Preceding her in death was her husband Roland. They were married June 28, 1952 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Hazel Park.
Surviving are her eight children: Loretta Duckett (Brian) of Slidell, LA, Paul of Rosevile, Barry (Nam Hui) of Nixa, MO, Sue Williams (Late Michael) of Royal Oak, Christopher of Paris, TN, Mary Margaret of Santa Fe, NM, Timothy of Ferndale, and Theresa Nietubicz (Doug) of Live Oak, FL. Sisters Pat Brassell of Madison Heights and Joyce Kurzawski of Hazel Park. Mrs. Maurice had 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation, Saturday, March 5th from 10:30 to 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church followed by 11:00 am Mass.
Burial, Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills.
