Carter, Ruth Ann, Age 64 of Madison Heights, died June 18, 2009. Beloved wife of Walter. Dearest mother of Beth (Robert) Berry, Ruth (Eric) Barnhart, and Deborah (Leland) Story. Dear grandmother of Kyle, Nicklas, Rachele, and Kenneth, and great grandmother of Haileigh. Also survived by her aunt Doris Nickle, who raised her. She was born in Aston, PA. She later married Walter and was an army wife until settling down in Madison Heights in 1992. She lived for her family and friends. Visitation Monday 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. Burial in Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley.
