Roy Pardy, age 96 of Madison Heights, passed away May 16, 2016. He was born March 7, 1920 in Nova Scotia to Henry and Ada Pardy.
Beloved husband of the late Ruby Pardy. Dear father of Ruth Ann (John) Rinehart, Sandra (George) Lazenby and Dan (Sheryl) Pardy. Grandfather of Lance (Mary Kay) Rinehart, Lorna (Chris) Bearup, Lorrie (Roy) Bolaros, Jeff (Karen) Lazenby and Tatiana Pardy. Great grandfather of 8 grandchildren.
He was a resident of Madison Heights for 61 years. He served in the army during World War II where he earned the Victory Metal, American Theater Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal. He enjoyed shooting pool, blue berry picking, cards, watching Jeopardy and the local sports teams. He loved his family and friends.
Visitation Wednesday from 3-9 pm with service at 7 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights.
