Roy J. Fox's Obituary
Roy J. Fox, age 86, of Hazel Park, passed away on December 22, 2015. He was born May 23, 1929 to Clint and Hazel Fox in Mesick, Michigan.
Beloved husband of Beverly. Father of Darrin Fox, Corinne Rogers, Linda Sepulveda (John), and Debbie Fox. Grandfather of Matt, Christyna, Andrew, Justin, Sean (deceased), Caitlyn, Brianna, Camryn, and Noah. Great grandfather of Cara, Kiersten, Avery, Addison, and Bradley. Brother of Oliver, Carrol and Eva. Predeceased by siblings Paul, Rachel and Raymond.
He served as an Army Sergeant in the Korean War. He earned the following honors: Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, United Nations Service Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon, and three Overseas Service Ribbons. He retired from General Motors after more than 28 years of service.
Visitation Monday, December 28th from 3 pm to 9 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights. Funeral service on Tuesday, December 29th at 11 am. Committal prayers and military honors to be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly on December 30th at 9:45 am.
