Rosemary Kotynia, age 89 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away October 7, 2016 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. She was born on June 2, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan.
Wife of the late Thaddeus M. Kotynia. Dear Mother of Karen (William) Schell and Ted (Dawn) Kotynia. She is pre-deceased by her son David Kotynia. Mother in law of Melissa Kotynia. Grandmother of Eroll, Christopher, Karla, William, Jacquline, Christina, Danielle, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Heather, Patricia and Stephanie. Great-Grandmother of 19.
Rosemary loved to read, play board games and cards. She loved traveling with her family and sitting on the deck looking at Black Lake (“If they’ll have me”).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Michigan. The Funeral will be held on Monday, Oct. 10th beginning with 10:30 am – Instate followed by the 11:00 am Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park, Michigan. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
