RoseMarie Smith's Obituary
RoseMarie C. (Ducharme) Smith, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. She was surrounded with family and their love.
Rose was born on August 19,1943 to Sovereign and Irene Ducharme in Windsor, Canada. She was number eleven of twelve children. She married the love of her life Alan John Smith (pre deceased 2006) on May 27, 1961. They started their family three years later, eventually having three daughters, Penny, Susan and Cindy.
Rose was a devoted Nana to her two granddaughters, Alexis and Alana Rose. She spent a lot of quality time with them and they were so blessed to have had that relationship. The girls adored her and they had their own motto, ‘What happens with Nana, stays with Nana!” She was a loving wife, mother, nana and friend. Everyone who knew her, knew she was a vibrant, loving, fun person. She was always there to lend a helping hand to who ever needed it.
Rose is survived by her daughters: Penny (Jan), Susan (Mike), Cindy (Adam). Granddaughters: Alexis and Alana Rose. Siblings: Helen, Marlene, Mary, Bill, Zeke (Sylvia) and Jerry. Mother in law: Betty, In-law Siblings: Charlotte (Don), Dick (Barb), Marge and Kathy. As well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, and friends.
