Ronald Ricky "Bobo" Malak's Obituary
Ronald Ricky “Bobo” Malak, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.
Born to the late Ronald “Rick” Malak and JoAnn Pichette, Bobo grew up with a heart as big as his smile. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jodi Pichette Malak (1996), and his father, Ronald “Rick” Malak (2018).
Bobo leaves behind his loving wife, Melissa (Spencer) Malak; his mother, JoAnn Pichette; his children, Katie (Kyle), Gary, William “Billy” (Kayla), Samantha “Sammy,” and Ethan “Iggy”; his six grandchildren, Xavier, Axel, Nathan, Liliana, Jeremy, and Bo; his siblings Jennie (Shane) Lekich, Jennifer (James) Smith, R. Ricky (Michelle) Malak, and Daniel (Heidi) Malak; and many cherished nieces and nephews, Jodi, John-William, Elisabeth “Betsy”, and Craig.
A hardworking man with grit and determination, Bobo proudly created Malak’s Construction and worked alongside his dad and son for many years, building not just homes but also strong foundations of trust and community. He was a man of his word, someone who never hesitated to lend a hand, and a person who truly lived by the values of loyalty, honesty, and kindness.
Bobo had a deep love for Westerns, often quoting his heroes John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. Much like them, he carried himself with strength, courage, and quiet wisdom. Yet beneath that tough exterior was a heart of gold. He wore his love openly, never missing an opportunity to tell his family how much they meant to him.
Bobo’s life was defined by love, family, hard work, and generosity. He will be remembered for his laughter, his selflessness, and the way he made everyone around him feel valued. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
