Roland Dale Porter, age 77, of Madison Heights, MI, passed away May 19, 2013. He was born December 27, 1935 in Warren, MI. Beloved husband of Barbara A. for 55 years. Loving father of Dan Porter and Rhonda Particka. Dear grandfather of Scot Morgan and Megan Rose. He received an Honorable discharge from the U.S. Army. A memorial visitation is scheduled for Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with the funeral service at 3:00 pm, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, MI. Eventual burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
