Rodger Henry Rewitzer Jr., age 76, of Madison Heights, Michigan where he lived for 53 years, passed away on July 20, 2026. He was born on February 6th , 1950, in Detroit, Michigan, to Rodger Henry Rewiter and Betty Jane Meyers.
Rodger will be remembered for his humor, generosity, and devotion to his family. He is survived by her children, Gregory (Cherylin) and Mathew (Ashley), grandchildren Parker and Eleanor, many friends, family, including many nieces and nephews he loved very much. Rodger was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn.
Rodger was a Vietnam veteran that worked at Chrysler for 30 years, He loved sports, cracking jokes, and his scratch offs. One of Rodger’s favorite times were coaching and attending his son’s baseball games. He was dog lover, leaving behind his 2 dogs and many over the years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. His family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time.
