Roberto Gomez Cortez, age 76 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on July 7, 2016. He was born on December 2, 1939 in Brownsville, Texas.
Beloved Husband of Sylvia Cortez. Dear Father of Maria Elsa (Rick) Ortiz, Roberto Gomez and Freddie (Katy) Gomez. Step-father of Heidi (Douglas) Scheer and Kenneth (Dawn) Swarthout. Grandfather of 12 and Great-Grandfather of 7. Brother of Baltimore, Norma, Benjamin, Belinda and Sylvia.
He retired from Main Street Tire and Wheels and previously worked at Christy Industries.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 15th, at 10:30 am followed by the 11:00 am Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Church, John R. Road at Woodward Heights, Hazel Park, Michigan.
