Robert Dean Lewis' Obituary
Robert Dean Lewis, age 96 of Lapeer, Michigan, and formerly of Warren, Michigan passed away on May 7, 2025 at Stonegate Health Assisted Living, Lapeer, Michigan. He was born on February 23, 1929 in Rochester, Michigan to Herbert and Ruth Lewis.
Beloved Husband of the late Gloria Lewis, who passed in 1997. Loving Father of Kathleen (Thomas) Spettel, the late Robin Lewis (who survived by her husband, Paul Hartley), and Cynthia (Jay) Lewis-Susalla. Cherished Grandfather of Jason (Rebecca), Shannon, Alexander, and Rachel. Great-grandfather of Tristen, Brayten, and Kolten. He is survived by a Special Friend, Mary Olson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Robert is predeceased by his sister, Geneva Roese.
He retired from Chrysler Automotive Company on April 30, 1991 after working there for 44 years.
Visitation will begin on Saturday May 17th at 10:00 AM and will continue until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggests donations to Support Michigan State Parks, Leader Dogs for the Blind and American Diabetes Association.
